Set in the beautiful countryside between Masham and Ripon in North Yorkshire, the award-winning Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park is home to 90 striking co...

Inspired by the Himalayas, the park is home to one of the North’s largest collections of rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias. The terrain undulates with steep paths in some areas, meandering through 45 acres of woodlands, gardens, an arboretum, and alongside tranquil lakes with a multitude of wildlife. The unusual microclimate of the valley makes it fertile ground for the rare meconopsis blue poppy.

In addition to its botanical attractions, the garden boasts an impressive array of contemporary sculptures by both local and international artists. These sculptures are strategically placed throughout the garden, blending harmoniously with the natural landscape and providing visitors with opportunities for reflection and inspiration.

For 2024, 60 new sculptures have been installed for ‘Sculptures in the Landscape Exhibition’, exploring artistry in nature with work from across the UK.

With a woodland playground, garden tearoom serving freshly prepares food and dogs welcome in the garden on short leads, this is a super family day out.
